October 2nd Premieres
Karen Pirie, Season 2
Forty years after oil heiress Catriona Grant (Julia Brown, Shetland) and her young son vanished without a trace, a new piece of evidence reignites one of Scotland’s most baffling cold cases. At the time of their 1984 abduction, political motivations were assumed and the investigation sparked intense media scrutiny—until the case suddenly went silent. When a body is discovered decades later, Karen Pirie (Lauren Lyle, Outlander) is tasked with reopening the case in complete secrecy. As she delves into a tangle of personal secrets, political unrest, and class divisions, she must uncover what really happened—and why powerful forces are still desperate to keep it buried. New episodes air weekly, for a total of three feature-length episodes.
October 10th Premieres
Ripper Street (2012 to 2016)
Set in the shadow of the Jack the Ripper murders, this gritty crime drama follows Inspector Edmund Reid (Matthew Macfadyen, Stonehouse) as he leads the officers of H Division in Whitechapel, one of London’s most dangerous districts. As Reid and his team—including the steadfast Sergeant Drake (Jerome Flynn, The Change), American surgeon Captain Jackson (Adam Rothenberg, Rivals), and brothel-owner-turned-ally Long Susan (MyAnna Buring, The Responder)—confront violent crimes and political corruption, they’re also haunted by personal demons and the fear that the Ripper’s legacy still lingers. Over time, the series explores shifting power struggles, tragic losses, and explosive secrets, with emotional storylines woven through each season’s central mystery. With strong performances and rich period detail, it offers a dark and layered portrait of law enforcement in Victorian London.
Seasons will premiere in October as follows:
- October 10th: Season 1 (8 x 60′)
- October 17th: Season 2 (8 x 60′)
- October 24th: Season 3 (8 x 60′)

Beyond Paradise, Season 3
DI Humphrey Goodman (Kris Marshall, Sanditon) and fiancée Martha (Sally Bretton, Not Going Out) return to face new pressures in their coastal community, both on and off the job. As the Shipton Abbott team investigates cases involving a body found on a county border, a poisoned box of chocolates, a long-running farming feud, and a spiking on the water, personal lives become increasingly complicated. Humphrey and Martha grapple with the realities of foster parenting, while the arrival of Martha’s former partner Archie (Jamie Bamber, Law & Order: UK) adds tension. Esther (Zahra Ahmadi, The Bay) is caught off guard by a personal revelation, Anne (Barbara Flynn, Kate & Koji) confronts a health scare, and Kelby (Dylan Llewellyn, Derry Girls) begins to carve out a new path. Episodes are released weekly, with six hour-long episodes in total.
October 22nd Premieres
Apple Tree Yard (2017)
When respected scientist Yvonne Carmichael (Emily Watson, Chernobyl) begins a passionate affair with a mysterious stranger (Ben Chaplin, The Dig), she believes she’s found an escape from her carefully ordered life. But when a sudden act of violence turns her world upside down, Yvonne becomes entangled in a criminal trial that threatens to destroy everything she’s built. As secrets unravel and loyalties are tested, the line between truth and deception grows dangerously thin in this psychological thriller. All four hour-long episodes will be released at once.
October 19th Premieres
Ten Pound Poms (2023)
In 1956, a group of British citizens take up an offer to start fresh in Australia for just ten pounds, lured by promises of sunshine, comfort, and opportunity. But when they arrive in Sydney, they’re met with harsh realities—far from the idyllic lives they imagined. As they adjust to their new surroundings, tensions rise and dreams are tested in this drama about identity, displacement, and the cost of chasing a better future. The series will premiere with two episodes, followed by single episodes weekly (total of six).
