June 3rd Premieres
Code Blue: One Punch Killers (2024)
Over the past five years, 82 people in the UK have died from single-punch attacks. With rare access to detectives involved in this types of cases, this hour-long documentary explores three harrowing cases—two fatal, one near-fatal—examining alcohol’s role, the culture of violence, and the grief left behind. It also asks a difficult question: in a drunken fight, does a single punch mean to kill?
June 4th Premieres
Mr. Loverman, Season 1 (2024)
Barrington Jedidiah Walker, Esq.—or Barry (Lennie James) to his mates—is a sharp-dressed, larger-than-life 70-year-old from Hackney with a secret. His wife Carmel (Sharon D. Clarke) suspects he's been unfaithful with women, but the truth is far more complicated: Barry has spent decades in a hidden relationship with his best friend, Morris (Ariyon Bakare). As he enters a new stage of life, Barry faces choices that could upend everything—and force his family to confront truths of their own.
Two episodes air each week, with a total of 8 30-minute episodes.
June 6th Premieres
Bright Young Things (2003)
In 1930s England, a lively group of young socialites stirs up headlines with their wild behavior. Aspiring novelist Adam Fenwick-Symes (Stephen Campbell Moore) hopes to marry the glamorous Nina Blount (Emily Mortimer), but when customs seize his manuscript, he's left scrambling to recover both his finances and his future.
Father Ted, Season 1
Three Catholic priests live in exile on a remote Irish island: one disgraced, one dim, and one barely conscious unless there's alcohol involved. Along with their relentlessly chipper housekeeper, they navigate parish life in the most absurd ways imaginable. Starring Dermot Morgan, Ardal O’Hanlon, Frank Kelly, and Pauline McLynn, this iconic sitcom was created by Graham Linehan and Arthur Mathews.
In season 2, the priests of Craggy Island head straight to “Hell”—a truly miserable caravan holiday—where we meet an overexcited Father Noel (Graham Norton in his first appearance). In “Think Fast, Father Ted”, the gang tries to fix a raffle with little more than a Kraftwerk-style priest band and a worn-out copy of “Ghost Town.” Their punishment? Representing Ireland in a rigged “Song For Europe” with the unforgettable “My Lovely Horse.” Elsewhere, Ted, Dougal, and Jack unwittingly derail the lives of three bishops in “Tentacles of Doom”, while bad influence Father Damo leads Dougal astray in “The Old Grey Whistle Theft.”
