It's February now, and that means a whole new month of Acorn TV premieres – including a new season of Murdoch Mysteries! Keep reading for the full list of premieres with descriptions.

The Graham Norton Show, Season 32
This popular talk show returns for another season of chats with celebrities. New episodes air as follows:

The Gone, Season 1 (2023, New Zealand)
When an Irish couple vanishes from a small New Zealand town, an Irish detective partners with a Kiwi officer to investigate. As they dig into the case, whispers of a connection to a series of long-forgotten murders begin to unsettle the close-knit community. Unearthing the truth won’t be easy, as suspicion and fear threaten to derail the search. The cast features Richard Flood (Grey’s Anatomy, Shameless), Acushla-Tara Kupe (Under the Vines, Mr. Corman), and Michelle Fairley (Gangs of London, Game of Thrones).

February 3rd Premieres
Dark Winds, Season 2
In 1971, Tribal Police officer Joe Leaphorn (Zahn McClarnon, The Son, Westworld, Fargo) is called in by the county sheriff to investigate the murder of a Navajo man. Teaming up with his former deputy, Jim Chee (Kiowa Gordon, The Red Road, Roswell, New Mexico), they navigate a treacherous world where justice is never easy. Jessica Matten also stars. DNA, Seasons 1-2 (2005)
Joe Donovan (Tom Conti, Oppenheimer, Reuben, Reuben) is a former police forensic scientist turned author, reluctantly pulled out of retirement and back into the field when his name is found to have been scrawled in blood by a murder victim. Samantha Bond (Downton Abbey, GoldenEye) also stars. All two seasons (five episodes) will premiere at once.
Hampstead (2017 feature film)
Diane Keaton stars as an American widow struggling to find her place in London’s charming but often standoffish social circles. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets Donald (Brendan Gleeson), a rugged, reclusive man living off the land in a makeshift home on Hampstead Heath. Inspired by true events, this British romantic drama follows their unlikely connection as Donald faces eviction by developers eager to claim the land. Also starring are James Norton (Grantchester), Lesley Manville (Phantom Thread), and Simon Callow (Four Weddings and a Funeral).
February 10th Premieres
Murdoch Mysteries, Season 18
At the turn of the century, Detective William Murdoch (Yannick Bisson, Baking All the Way, Casino Jack) solves gruesome murders in Toronto using innovative techniques like fingerprinting, ultraviolet lighting, and trace evidence. This season, he turns down a promotion to Inspector to stay in the field, tackling complex crimes. In the new season, the stationhouse welcomes Albert Choi (Paul Sun-Hyung, The Mandalorian, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Kim’s Convenience), a respected and good-humored addition to the team.
Episodes will air in February as follows, with 22 in total by the end of the season:
- February 10th: Episode 1, “The New Recruit – Murdoch and Crabtree enjoy a war re-enactment until a fellow pretend soldier is murdered.
- February 17th: Episode 2, “Only Murdoch in the Building” – When Murdoch moves into a rooming house another tenant insists he investigates a murder.
- February 24th: Episode 3, “What the Dickens?!” – When Crabtree and Effie attend a celebration of Charles Dickens’ birth the host winds up mysteriously dead.

For Life (2020, Norwegian)
Emmy award-winning writer Gjermund S. Eriksen brings us this series about Victoria Woll, a former police detective serving time in jail. In each episode we see her solving a unique crime, and it reveals a little piece of her past – and how she ended up behind bars.
Interestingly, the team behind the series cited American shows Family Guy and How I Met Your Mother as inspirations for this “happy noir” crime drama and its unusual timeline. Binge premiere of all 8 episodes.
The Grand, Seasons 1-2 (1997-1998)
Set in a luxury Manchester hotel during the 1920s, The Grand follows the lives of the Bannerman family, who own the establishment, and the staff who keep it running. As post-war Britain faces social and economic change, tensions rise between the wealthy guests upstairs and the hardworking employees below. Starring Susan Hampshire (The Pallisers, Monarch of the Glen), Tim Healy (Benidorm), Rebecca Callard (Detectorists), and Mark McGann (Shackleton), the series explores ambition, scandal, and the shifting class divide in a grand setting. Binge premiere of all 18 episodes.

A Remarkable Place to Die (2024, New Zealand)
Detective Anais Mallory (Chelsie Preston Crayford, M3GAN, Underbelly) is back in Queenstown, New Zealand, but the homecoming is anything but peaceful. Faced with a string of unsettling murders, she must navigate the town’s secrets while reckoning with the past she thought she’d left behind. Also starring Rebecca Gibney (Under the Vines, The Dressmaker) and Matt Whelan (The Sounds, Under the Vines, The Gone).
New episodes will air weekly, with February dates as follows:
- February 17th, Episode 1: Detective Mallory's homecoming unravels a chilling mystery mirroring her past.
- February 24th, Episode 2: While grappling with her own personal demons, Mallory must solve a seemingly impossible locked-room
murder.
Best Interests (2023)
Andrew (Michael Sheen, Good Omens, Frost/Nixon) and Nicci (Sharon Horgan, Catastrophe, Bad Sisters) are faced with an unthinkable decision when doctors determine that further treatment for their critically ill daughter is no longer in her best interest. As they fight for her life, their struggle turns into a legal battle with profound consequences. Also starring Niamh Moriarty (Jack Thorne’s A Christmas Carol), Alison Oliver (Saltburn), and Lisa McGrillis (Maternal, Mum).
Episodes will premiere in February as follows:
- February 17th, Episode 1 – As Marnie’s health deteriorates, doctors say it's in her best interests to stop care; defiant, her parents pledge to fight
their decision. - February 24th, Episode 2 – Nicci and Andrew fail to make a decision with Samantha and The Hospital board, the next step is mediation, the pair start to disagree with Marnie's future.
The final two episodes will follow in March (new episodes on Mondays).

Louise (Jodie Whittaker, Doctor Who, Broadchurch) is a single mother and rising star at a London bank, thrilled when she’s offered a promotion. But the opportunity comes with a catch—she’s unknowingly drawn into a dangerous web of financial crime and corporate corruption. As the pressure mounts, she'll have to decide how far she’s willing to go to protect herself and her family. The three-part series also stars Laurence Fox (Lewis, Victoria) and Toby Stephens (Die Another Day, Black Sails).
