Escape to the Country returns July 10th

Escape to the Country, Season 33 (US Only Premiere)

In this long-running property series, prospective buyers are shown a variety of impossibly charming homes in rural parts of Britain as they consider leaving urban or suburban life behind. Each episode follows their search with the help of a presenter (Jules Hudson is our favourite!), combining property viewings with information about the surrounding area and what day-to-day life there might be like.

Alongside the house hunt, the series often highlights local history, countryside businesses, and regional attractions, giving a broader picture of the communities the buyers are considering. Six episodes released initially, then four weekly (total of 50 hour-long episodes).

Return to Paradise returns July 14th

Return to Paradise, Season 2 (US Only Premiere)

Set in the coastal town of Dolphin Cove, this series follows DS Mackenzie Clarke (Anna Samson, Home and Away), a former Met investigator who returns home to Australia and finds herself working in a place where she still feels out of step. The series combines light murder investigations with the complications of Mack’s personal life, including her history in the town and her uneasy place within the community.

In season 2, Mack remains in Dolphin Cove while trying to avoid getting drawn into the wedding plans of her ex-fiancée Glenn (Tai Hara, Colin from Accounts). At the same time, she and her team take on a new group of cases spanning the literary world, shark research, dating apps, and the local music scene.

July 23rd Premieres

Gone premieres July 23rd

Gone (2026) (North American Premiere)

When Alana Polly (Emma Appleton, The Witcher), a married music teacher from Bristol, disappears, the circumstances make little immediate sense. Her car keys are still at home, her phone is still charging, and there's no clear sign of where she might have gone. As hours turn into days, concern deepens and her husband, Michael Polly (David Morrissey, Sherwood), turns to the police for help. Detective Annie Cassidy (Eve Myles, Coldwater) takes on the case after Michael pushes for answers about his missing wife. But while he insists on finding out what happened, Annie begins to suspect that his account may not be the whole truth. Three episodes premiere on the 23rd, followed by weekly episodes for a total of six hour-long episodes.

July 29th Premieres

A Woman of Substance premieres July 29th

A Woman of Substance (1984)

This 1984 adaptation follows Emma Harte from her beginnings as a servant in Yorkshire to her rise as a powerful businesswoman with an international empire. Deborah Kerr (The King and I) stars as the older Emma, with Jenny Seagrove (A Local Habble) playing her in earlier years, as the story traces her life across decades of ambition, family conflict, and commercial success.

Told across three feature-length episodes, the series covers Emma’s climb from poverty to wealth while also following the personal relationships and rivalries that surround her. Based on Barbara Taylor Bradford’s novel, it spans much of the 20th century and focuses on both the building of her fortune and the tensions within the family dynasty she creates. Binge premiere of all three feature-length episodes.
