Adapted from the classic short stories, the series follows a seemingly mild-mannered cleric whose kindly manner, parish experience and confessional insight conceal a sharp eye for human weakness and a talent for uncovering murder in his quiet English community. Set in and around Brighton, this contemporary crime drama follows DS Roy Grace (John Simm, Life on Mars), a driven but unorthodox detective still haunted by his wife’s disappearance. Based on Peter James’s bestselling novels, the series teams him with DS Glenn Branson as they tackle complex, often deeply personal cases. In four new investigations, Grace faces higher stakes than ever, with mounting pressure at work and at home pushing him to the brink as buried secrets and shocking betrayals come to light. Sense & Sensibility (1995 film)
After the Dashwood family’s sudden loss of income and status, the marriage prospects of sensible Elinor (Emma Thompson, Why Didn’t They Ask Evans?) and impulsive Marianne (Kate Winslet, The Holiday) appear bleak. As they navigate shifting social standing and romantic disappointment, three suitors – Colonel Brandon (Alan Rickman, Love Actually), Edward Ferrars (Hugh Grant, A Very English Scandal) and Willoughby (Greg Wise, The Crown) – find themselves caught between rigid social expectations and their own conflicted desires.

Agatha & the Truth of Murder (2018)
In 1926, as her marriage collapses and her writing falters, Agatha Christie (Ruth Bradley, Slow Horses) is drawn into a real murder: the brutal killing of Florence Nightingale Shore (Stacha Hicks, Call the Midwife), goddaughter of the famous nurse, found with fatal head wounds on a train to Hastings. When the police investigation stalls, Florence’s partner of twenty-six years, Mabel Rogers (Pippa Haywood, Bodyguard), begs Agatha to take a fresh look at the case. Using the techniques she usually reserves for her novels, Agatha discovers that the killer she’s pursuing is sharper – and far more dangerous – than any she has imagined on the page.

In the second series, set in 1957, Kate and the Robertses push on after a tough first year, determined to carve out their own version of the Australian dream despite fresh setbacks at home, at work and in the wider community. Two episodes released at premiere, followed by weekly episodes after (total of 6 hour-long episodes).
