Acorn TV has announced their November US schedule, and if you're a fan of mysteries set in Australia and New Zealand, you're in luck. We'll also see the return of a couple British cozy favorites – keep reading for the full list plus descriptions.

Shows Continuing on Acorn TV in November 2025

Murder Before Evensong premiered at the end of September

Murder Before Evensong (2025)

Canon Daniel Clement, a quiet village rector played by Matthew Lewis (Harry Potter films, Me Before You), becomes involved in a murder investigation after a local man is found stabbed with a pair of gardening secateurs. When his outspoken mother Audrey arrives unexpectedly, long-buried family tensions resurface just as a deeper crisis unfolds. The victim, a cousin of the church’s patron, forces Daniel to confront secrets hidden beneath the surface of village life. As media attention grows and pressure mounts from his bishop, Daniel begins to wonder who he can trust—and whether he was the real target. Based on the novel Murder Before Evensong by Reverend Richard Coles.

  • November 3rd
    • Episode 6 (FINALE): Keeping his gruesome discovery from Neil, Clement lays a trap for the killer but he is double-crossed. Faced with an ethical dilemma, Clement is forced to examine his own nature. It falls to his mother to try to pull him back from the brink of despair.

The Light in the Hall, Season 2

A proposed expansion of a nearby reservoir stirs up long-buried tensions in a tight-knit community, attracting the attention of journalist Caryl (Siân Reese-Williams, Hidden). As she investigates, questions resurface about the 1995 protests and whether Rhys Owen (Mark Lewis-Jones, Keeping Faith) was wrongly imprisoned for the murder of his cousin. Old wounds reopen as buried secrets and doubts come to light. The cast also includes Nia Roberts, Robert Glenister, and others.

  • November 6th
    • Episode 4: Caryl digs deep, questioning Eve, Rhys, and Robert to uncover their roles in the tragedy. Meanwhile, Mabli’s secret paternity test shakes family bonds, threatening to unravel long-held ties and expose hidden truths beneath the surface.
  • November 13th
    • Episode 5: The community mourns a beloved member as Eve struggles with guilt. At the funeral, Mabli’s heartfelt poem criticizes the reservoir expansion, sparking a powerful alliance with Hari as they unite to protest and fight against the reservoir expansion.
  • November 20th
    • Episode 6: As Caryl unravels the truth behind Llyr's death, Rhys confronts his father Bryn about his involvement in the bombing. Meanwhile, Hari faces a tough choice and decides to leave Llanemlyn, seeking a fresh start away from the town’s lingering shadows.

The Gone, Season 2

What begins as a missing persons case soon stirs up old fears in the community, with whispers of a connection to a string of long-forgotten murders. As the detectives navigate cultural divides and buried local secrets, they uncover far more than they expected in the quiet town of Mount Affinity.

    • Episode 1: When Irish journalist Aileen Ryan goes missing, Irish Detective Theo Richter and Kiwi Detective Diana Huia are
      compelled to remain in Mt Affinity, New Zealand to lead the search.
  • November 10th
    • Episode 2: As Diana and Richter struggle to make sense of what could have happened to Aileen, and fearing the worst, they
      discover another Irish person is missing.
  • November 17th
    • Episode 3: The truth about how Aileen went missing is revealed. The detectives find the two missing Irish, but when one still ends up in the morgue, they now have a homicide on their hands.
  • November 24th
    • Episode 4: Evidence suggests the Mountain Murderer is back and responsible for the latest killing, leaving a trail of breadcrumbs for Diana and Richter, who close in on a very unlikely suspect.

Black Snow returns November 3rd

Detective Cormack (Travis Fimmel, Vikings) finds himself pulled in two directions as he investigates a pair of missing persons cases. The other hits much closer to home—his own younger brother, who disappeared when they were children.
