November 2nd Premieres

Friday Night Dinner continues in November

Friday Night Dinner, Seasons 3-6

Simon Bird (The Inbetweeners) and Tom Rosenthal (Plebs) star as brothers Adam and Jonny Goodman, who return to their parents’ North London home every Friday night for dinner. Tamsin Greig (Episodes) and Paul Ritter (Chernobyl) play their parents Jackie and Martin, with Mark Heap (Spaced) as their socially awkward neighbour Jim in this sitcom built around family arguments, practical jokes, unwanted visitors, and increasingly chaotic dinners.

  • Season 3 brings more trouble to the Goodman household as Adam attracts an unexpected young admirer, Jonny gets a disastrous tattoo, Jackie tries her hand at counselling, Martin attempts to hide a dead fox, Grandma reunites with the formidable Mr Morris, and a wedding looms.
  • Season 4 finds Adam and Jonny technically grown up but still returning home every Friday, where Martin’s latest schemes, Jackie’s reluctance to let go of the boys’ childhood belongings, and the family’s two grandmothers keep causing problems.
  • Season 5 brings more disastrous dinners as Jackie and Martin get a hot tub, Adam accidentally sets his car on fire, Martin becomes obsessed with an unsettling old ventriloquist dummy, and Jim attempts to navigate a particularly awful date.
  • Season 6 sees Martin move into a dilapidated caravan, Adam and Jonny both arrive with girlfriends, Horrible Grandma returns to disrupt the household, and Jim introduces the Goodmans to his new dog.

In the US, seasons 3 through 6 arrive on BritBox on November 2, 2026, with all six episodes of each season released at once.
