Unforgotten

Unforgotten is a critically acclaimed British drama that follows a team of London detectives working on complex cold cases. Each season begins with the discovery of human remains, and that discovery unravels a new web of long-buried secrets, emotional trauma, and unresolved guilt. Known for its deep character work and emotional storytelling, the series has become one of PBS’s most compelling offerings. It manages to be dark and complex without being wallowing in the gore and violence.

Season 6 opens with dismembered human remains discovered in Whitney Marsh. DCI Jess James and DI Sunny Khan lead the investigation, gradually connecting the victim to a wide-ranging group of seemingly unrelated individuals – including a brash TV commentator, a university faculty head, an Afghan man preparing for his citizenship test, and a quiet man living with his mother.
