ITV Releases First Look Images for Season 4 of Trigger Point

ITV has released the first images from the upcoming fourth series of Trigger Point, offering an sneak peek at Vicky McClure’s return as bomb disposal officer Lana Washington. The new six-part series will bring Lana and the Metropolitan Police bomb disposal team back to the streets of London, where they will face another series of explosive devices and terrorist threats.
What Do We Know About Trigger Point Series 4?
ITV has not yet revealed detailed plot information, but they says the new episodes will present Lana with her greatest challenge so far – though, to be fair, don't they always say something like that? Either way, it should be entertaining.
The first-look images show Lana in action alongside fellow bomb disposal officers Danny and Hass. Other photos take viewers inside police headquarters, where DS Helen Morgan and DCI Batra appear to be working on the latest threat facing the capital.
Who’s in the Cast of Trigger Point Series 4?
Vicky McClure (Line of Duty) returns as experienced bomb disposal officer Lana Washington. Eric Shango is also back as Danny, with Nabil Elouahabi returning as Hass. Natalie Simpson reprises her role as DS Helen Morgan, while Maanuv Thiara returns as DCI Batra.
Julie Graham (Shetland, The Hardacres) joins the cast as Commander Nia Quentin. We don't know exactly what her role will entail or how she'll fit into the story, but with a powerhouse like her, it should be interesting.
Who’s Making Trigger Point Series 4?
The new series is written by Chris Brandon (Bloodlands). Jennie Darnell (Payback, Line of Duty) and Nirpal Bhogal (DI Ray, Grace) direct the six episodes.
Kristian Dench (The Capture, Red Eye) serves as series producer, with Kingsley Hoskins (The Road Trip, The Flatshare) as block producer.
Executive producers include Line of Duty creator Jed Mercurio, Daniel Walker, Jessica Sharkey, Chris Brandon and Vicky McClure. HTM Television produces the series in association with All3Media International.
When Will Trigger Point Series 4 Premiere?
ITV says Trigger Point Series 4 will premiere soon on ITV and ITVX in the UK, but an exact date has not yet been announced. With first-look images out, though, that suggests a premiere date will be announced any day now.
A US premiere date has not been confirmed. The first three seasons are currently available to watch on BritBox in the US, and we would expect to see the new season there, too (though it hasn't been officially announced).
